New World - Everfall Props

Here are 2 props I worked on while working with Lost Boys Interactive and Amazon Games Studio. The Cabinet is a part of Everfall's furniture selection for players to use for their custom housing. The model was made in Maya, high poly was done in Zbrush, baked in Marmoset Toolbag, and textured in substance painter. Originally, there was parallax occlusion for the filigree on the cabinet however, the decision was made to get rid of it.

The Everfall door is just a door. What makes the door unique for me was using vertex color to add ambient occlusion. This was something I haven't used since school. I thought it was clever and used it on other props. I even wrote a doc on the process of using vertex color for the team. You will see Everfall doors all over Everfall.

Working on New World has been a great experience, but with the amazing team at Lost boys interactive has been a dream come true.
